Michelle and Felicia love for each other is tested when a death in the family opens old wounds.

Old wounds made by lack of communication and the unwillingness to take responsibility for damage done.

Uncle Bob funeral was packed with family, friends, and coworkers he had worked with through the years.

Robert Ice was his real name and everyone called him Bobby for short.

Robert Ice had been a doctor for over 50 years and delivered most of the children born in the community.

His status in the community was never questioned nor were his words.

Robert Ice never married again after his wife died from a car wreck so he's two nieces were like his daughter to him.

Everyone loved Uncle Bob except for his two nieces Michelle Brewed and Felicia Ice.

Looking around the wake room Felicia motion for Michelle to come to her.

Excusing herself from her husband Michelle walks over to where her sister is sitting.

"Hello Felicia I didn't think you would come to his funeral".

Felicia understood why her sister believed that but she had to come, but to her sister she responded.

"How else could I make sure he was dead said Felicia?"

Trying not to draw to much attention to Felicia outbursts or other family members inquiring Michelle answer her.

"You need to let that go and move on said Michelle".

"I've forgiven Uncle Bob for what he did to me and so should you".

" Yes, you did forgive him and it only cost you a inheritance of 20 million dollars and best education in the world for yourself and your kids said Felicia".

Trying not to go blastic on her big sister Michelle tries another approach.

" That inheritance was going to family because Uncle Bob didn't have any kids and you were offered the other 20 million dollars but you refused it".

"Instead you choosed to give your inheritance to charity and live by paycheck to paycheck said Michelle".

"What you considered a inheritance I called blood money and a payoff said Felicia?"

Sighing to herself Michelle gives Felicia a big hug and tries again to reach her big sister heart.

Felicia was full of life and dreams until what Uncle Bob did to both of them.

Felicia was the oldest so he had her the longest and as much as she tried to get her help she would refuse it.

Felicia never married or had kids because of Uncle Bob abuse.

So using his funeral for her therapy could only go so far without causing damage to the family.

"I don't know what you're planning Felicia but this is a funeral for our Uncle Bob with family and friends that loved".

"Would they love him if they knew what he did to us said Felicia?"

"So that's your plan; ousting a dead man said Michelle".

"Yes, said Felicia I've kept quiet for to long and today at his home coming to Hell I'm exposing Uncle Bob".

Michelle could tell that Felicia was full of pain but this is not the time or place to do this.

The man is dead and what would bring up his past now help anyone.

Grabbing Felicia tighter Michelle whispered in her ear.

"This confrontation with a dead man is only going to hurt you and cause this family to be divided said Michelle".

"This family divided when they wouldn't believe me and you didn't tell when he done it to you said Felicia".

"I seen how they treated you when you spoke against the Great Uncle Bob said Michelle".

"Besides after I didn't speak Uncle Bob left me alone".

"And you never thought why that happened said Felicia".

Truthfully she did but once those bedtime stories visit stop coming Michelle was happy it was over with.

Taking her silence as a que she didn't care Felicia explained.

"I had a visit with Uncle Bob with his own gun and told him if he touched you again I would kill him".

So that's what happened in Uncle Bob study when she saw Felicia exiting the room.

Felicia would only say everything was taking care of and go back to bed.

"I didn't know you did that for me said Michelle"

"Who else was going to stand up for us said Felicia?"

"With our father dead and drunk for a mother we're our only hope".

"And just like I had your back when we're growing up I need you to have mines now".

Thinking over what Felicia just told her Michelle wanted to help her but not at a wake of a dead man.

So she respond to Felicia this way.

"I'm willing to pay for your therapy and take care of you for the rest of your life Felicia".

"But I'll not allow you to use a dead man wake as your ousting party said Michelle.

At that moment Reverend Lucas Juice took back over the podium.

"If there no one else who would like to give a speech or say something about Robert Ice aka known as Uncle Bob".

"Than we'll be closing up this wake for night until the funeral takes place on Sunday".

Felicia tries to raise from her seat as Michelle tries to keep her seated.

About to use her voice so Michelle had to let go until Michelle 16 year old daughter Rebecca walks towards the podium.

Taking over the microphone Rebecca begins her speech.

"Great Uncle Bob has taught me so much about life and love said Rebecca"

"And with that knowledge and him being a doctor for so many years I know our child will be a genius".

Michelle screaming as she let go of Felicia.

While the rest of the family tries to register what Rebecca just said out of her mouth.

Felicia says only one thing as she leaves her seat by her sister.

"It seems I don't need to make a speech after all".

Exiting the room and looking across at her mother Felicia messaged to her is clear with her eyes.

With her eyes telling her mother I told you so her mother only responds was the tears in her eyes.
