I spot a girl running through the forest, my home.
"OH CRAP I'M LATE!" I heard her explain
"Why are you running late?" I ask, curious.

I glance at him. Caution and worry fills me. I bolt away.

I sigh and turn back to my cave that I live in, wondering who that girl was.

I run to the library and yell, “IM HERE!” everyone looks at me

"Hello mother," I said, quite blandly.

I just realized, this is the most I have talked to someone besides my mom.

“Mason?” I cough again. I look at the pile of blood on the ground. “MASON!” “Shut up!” They whip me. “MASON!” if he could find me and get me out of here, I could run away from him and be free.

I smile and blush happily. I open me eyes and look at his eyes. I see he has a relaxed look.

I look at him again. My eyes were black still, but I felt like they gave a little sparkle. I smile at him. Then I say, “I want to go somewhere. Somewhere we’re no one will find us.”

I couldn't see Opal anywhere, so I barged in another door that said something about caution. The room was filled with people looking at something on the test table. They were wearing masks and shields to protect them from breathing in the substance. I felt light headed and woozy. I slumped on the floor, and oblivion.

I hear a big explosion. I sit up and limp over my the bars. “Mason?” I choke. I cough blood and look around. I hear echoing footsteps. He couldn’t find me even if he WAS here. I’m separated from everyone else.

I didn't know what was happening, or what that gas was that knocked me out. I really needed to find Opal and free her, but my body wouldn't move. I really wanted to save her, but I wasn't sure I could.

I shake the bars hard and cough. Mason’s dad punches my face. I get a bloody nose. They run over and out of the room. I use all my strength to tell him something. “Mason! It’s me! I need to to help me! Don’t give up. Not on me.” I close my eyes and cough more.

“Alright. One day, I was walking around. Then, I heard a branch snap.” The beers hit the table. “He had a knife. He ran at me and I held his writs so he wouldn’t stab me. I pushed him back and he sliced my eye. It bled out and I screamed. I looked at him and he laughed at me. Then I used.. some sort of black magic. I’m not sure... I’m trying to get in fights to try it out. I ended up killing the man. I’m now wanted for $100,000. No one wants to fight me tho.” I chuckle, then shiver at the thought of the moment.

I chug the beer and rip the chicken leg. I open my wallet and hand her the money. I look at the table and then stand up. “Stay here. I need a breather.” I walk outside and look around. Someone runs up to me and starts to choke me. “I’ll kill you for what you’ve done!” “No you won’t.” I say, not even struggling. “Your to innocent.” He lets me go. “Told you.” I smile and rub my neck. “You’ll burn in hell one day.” I snarl and lean against the wall.

Back Story: abandoned by parents in the woods, grew up with animals, but they turned him back when he was older, forced him to go to a city to learn. he hates it, but does it to please the animals, he rushes to the forest after school, gets picked on a lot
Powers: can speed up plant growth to his advantage and he can stick to the shadows when he needs to
Hair: short brown, rugged
Eyes: deep forest green with flecks of blue
