Trigger warning: Misophonia, spirits,death.
"Is anybody here?"-I call out into an empty place. I open the big metal door and step inside. My snickers immediately wetten. But I barely pay attention to that. Mom says to never pay attention to such things. Mom...I am here only for you. For you, not for Sasha.
I check my phone. Two in the morning. I have time. The wallpaper on my phone is me and mom. Oh,mom...I hope you will be happy.
I wonder why I even asked if anyone was here...Of course no one is. This pool's been abandoned and long forgotten.
My feet do annoying splish splashes when I walk through the corridor. I don't remember exactly where Sasha is. I look closely into every corner.
No sign of Sasha.
The pool is filled with all kinds of dirt. There are even mice here. Ew. I hate mice.
Sasha definetely isn't worth the backpain, but mom is. I'll do anything for her. She's been through hell.
I see the female and male shower rooms. I don't really think Sasha can be in the male shower room, but later I'll check anyways. If I have time.
I open the door of the female shower room. There is even darker than in the corridor. At least in the corridor there were windows...No windows here.
I look everywhere. I look in all the lockers, checking the time every five minutes cause I definetely don't want mom to be worried for me. I check under them. I check under the beches as well.
Sasha is nowhere to be seen. Not even a sign of her things.
I sigh. "I hate you, Sasha."-I say into the void.
Why does mommy even need her body honored? Sasha was a stupid, pompous jerk.
I will never forget how she slipped my head into the toilet.
Still I search the shower rooms. Accidentaly turn a shower on, end up all in some raggy water.
Swearing, I go into the pool itself.
How I hate Sasha! Anyone would only know!
"Shut up already.-I say to myself- This is for mom, not for the stupid Sasha."
Sasha Sasha Sasha! Everything is always about her! For her are the best grades, boys, the most handsone boys! For her, for her is...For her is...
I don't want to think about is. I hate thinking about it!
I open the door. It squaks with an annoying loud metal sound. I yelp out a disgusted cry. I have always and forever hated sounds. Even music I do not like. People don't get how, cause music is "life", but music just grates my poor ears. So does this sound.
I hear a giggle. For a second I wince. The giggle is gross, but that is not the worst thing about it. And not even that no one should even giggle in an empty pool. What bugs me about the giggle...That it sounds like Sasha.
"How the hell,Sasha?-I say to anyone or no one-You are supposed to be dead!"
The giggle repeats itself. I take a fast step back. It wasn't a hallucination.
"Sasha?"-I whisper.
The giggle comes itself again. I gulp down some air and cough from how much air I gulped.
The giggle repeats for the forth time. Something swishes past me. I'm touched by some wet material that feels like a swimming suit. "Sasha?!"-I exclaim in a high pitched voice.
I walk back and press myself into the wall. I think only about mom. Only she gives me comfort. When I was bullied, Sasha,my own sister, helped them, but not mommy. Never mommy.
"Moma..."-I mumble.
There is a silouette in the back of this dark smelly room. It starts to show itself. First show the hair. The hair is messy, unwashed. Sasha hardly ever washed her hair. I can smell the greese from here. I wonder what the boys even found in her...The hair is long, and it look like hay.
Then show the arms. The arms are long, stretching out to me, white fingers grasping the void. I see her long nails. Her nails always had dirt under them. And again I don't understand what the boys saw in her ugly self.
Then show her legs. Long legs they are. Mommy always said they're like a model's. I think they're like a witch's. They're hairy and the hair is long and probably spiky.
Then shows her torso. Wearing a swimming suit. Her long swimming suit with a brown skirt. The one I have always been jealous of.
At last show her eyes. Her eyes are huge, wide open. If before they were grey, now they don't have any colour. They are only black emptiness.
"Milena."-her giggle sounded like hers. But the voice is not.
Her voice is creaking, it sounds like an old and angry grandma had a baby with a squaking old stroller.
The situation is deadly. I'm going to die and never see mommy again...But even now the voice makes me angry and want to throw up.
"Sasha...-I try talking calmly-Listen...You are dead, nothing will help you anymore. But mom loved you. She needs your body properly buried."
Sasha stops. She is thinking.
I hold my breath and grapple with my fingers. If she agrees I can go home and forget about her. I can write again and go to university and...Make my mommy proud.
I can't do anything about it, I smile.
Sasha suddenly smiles too. Her big mouth is seen now. Her wide, but strangely straight teeth are seen now. "Fine.- she says- Wanna burry me? Okay. You love mom sooo much!"-she laughs.
I do. And even the laugh does not make me have my usual. I am just angry at her that she's mocking my love for mom.
But what's the point of saying anything?
"Where?"-I ask her.
She points at the pool.
I make a face. I was already spashed with that cold, greasy water. Gross.
"What? Can't?"
I can. For mommy I can. I take a breath and...
She pushes me in.
I can't even orient.
A hand grabs my hair...
And pulls me in.

I loved the "Sasha, Sasha, Sasha!" Line. Intentional Brady Bunch callback? Classic horror. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, never heard about International Brady Bunch. Is that a book?

I'm old. The Brady Bunch was an American sit-com from the 1970s. Three brothers (Greg, Peter, and Bobby) and three sisters (Marsha, Jan, and Cindy) in a blended family. Marsha was always the popular girl in school. Jan, being the typical middle child, always felt left out and jealous. There is a famous scene where she gets tired of hearing about Marsha. "That's all I ever hear: Marsha! Marsha!! Marsha!!!"

Thank you for the reply. I'm not really familiar with a lot of sitcoms.
