Kim is a photographer and loves taking photos of the outdoors. She loves the look of nature in photos. And always goes to the National state parks to take some of her best photos. She left for a weekend of taking photos at the nearest state park. When she arrived, there was a family of five there in the same area as she was. They were a lovely family with two sons about the ages of three and five with a girl of about the age of ten. They were getting ready to have a picnic at a nearby picnic table. She started taking photos of the family setting the table with the food and sitting around the table. As Kim looked back at her photos, she noticed a lot of blurry spots where the family was supposed to be. How weird she thought. So, she didn't think anything of it and continued to take photos of the nearby trees and some of the flowers that were growing nearby. When she looked back at those photos, they seemed to be fine. Then she went to the family photos and relooked at them. They were still the same. She walked back to where the family was. This time she found them at a nearby playground with the children playing on the swings and going down a slide. She begins taking more photos of them. She looks back at those photos and they too are blurry. Where the children are in the photos. She just shakes her head and goes with her day of shooting photos of the spring and the rocks near it. But she can't help but wonder why all of her other photos are just fine, but the ones of the family weren't. So, she continued the rest of her day shooting photos in various places in the park. It was getting late, and the park was getting ready to close so she packed up her camera and got into her car and drove to the hotel for the weekend. She got to the hotel and checked in at the desk the nice young lady at the desk gave her the key to her room and told her to "Have a Good evening." "Thank you." Kin told her as she walks away from the desk, she stops in front of the elevator to wait for it to open and that's when she sees the family from the park unloading their car to come into the hotel. She is watching as the father helps the littlest son get out of his car seat and the mother is getting their bags out of the trunk of their SUV. The elevator doors open, and she gets on it. In her room she orders dinner and then takes a quick shower before it arrives. After she eats her dinner, she gets out her laptop and downloads all of the photo she had taken during her day at the park. She is going through all of them and there's a lot. But the ones she's most interested in right now are of the family. She had taken at least fifty photos of them, and they all look the same she tried changing the contrast of the photos on the laptop and making the color darker nothing was helping the pictures look focused it was like she had moved just as she was taking all of the photos, and they just came out as blurry images but only of the family nothing else in the photo with the family was blurry just the family. It is just unexplainable what is in the photos. Kim closed her laptop and went to bed. Maybe it will be more explainable in the morning after a good night's rest, she thought as she closed her eyes and fell fast asleep. She woke to the sound of her alarm going off. She got out of bed got dressed and went down for breakfast the one reason she picked this hotel was for the free breakfast. As she got off the elevator, she saw the family again, only this time in the eating area having as she breakfasts. She couldn't help but stare at them as she poured her some coffee and got a beagle with some cream cheese. She sat three tables from them. She was trying to hear them talking but she couldn't seem to make out what they were saying to each other. It suddenly got very cold where she was sitting. One of the severs came by her she stopped him and asked, "Is it always this cold in here?" "Not always but for some reason it is today." He told her. She finished her coffee and beagle and went back to her room where she packed up her camera for another day at the state park. She couldn't believe it when she got to the park the family was there again today at the same picnic table as they were yesterday. She got out her camera and began taking photos of them again, maybe these would be better she thought as she looked though her lens and began snapping photos. She looked back to check what they looked like and just like yesterday the family was a blur, but the rest of the picture was perfectly fine. Kim gave up and walked over to a different area that she didn't get to yesterday. The rest of her photos turned out just fine, all but the ones of the family again. So, she again packed up her camera and headed back to the hotel the traffic was crazy this time going to the hotel, so she turned on the radio to see what was going on with it. Construction had brought it down to one lane and it slowed it down a bit. By the time she got back to the hotel it was dark and way past dinner so before she went up to her room, she grabbed a sandwich from the vending machine. She got back on the elevator and went up to her room. unloaded her camera on the table next to the bed. She put the sandwich into the microwave for two minutes as she pulled out her laptop and camera from its bag. She ate the sandwich while looking through the photos from today. The family ones again today looked blurry just like yesterday's not even a different kind of blurry it's the same kind of blurry. All the other photos looked great. She just didn't understand what happened to those specific photos. She put the camera away and began looking through the news from the last couple of days that she missed while at the park. And that's when she found the article of a car accident from two days ago that took the lives of a family of five a mother, father and three children. It happened out on the interstate right outside of the state park. Kim sat up straighter in her chair. Now she knew what she had photos of. The news article had a photo of the family from the accident, and it was the same family she had been taking photos of, but they were ghost in her photos.
