The Mirror Cracks

Turmoil, confusion, chaos anyone would think the world is ending!

What’s coming to an end is a world built on fear, lack, distrust, disharmony, projection and greed and yes, it’s chaotic as we try to grab onto some semblance of stability of understanding and justification of our outgrown thoughts and beliefs born from it and based on it.

What we don’t necessarily have the clarity on, is why? It’s simple, it doesn’t serve all of humanity anymore, it never did.

We have forgotten first and foremost we are a soul, way before and long after we have a physical body on Earth.

We come to Earth to learn love, our lessons and obstacles are our karmic debt to be overcome and overturned in time by our change of heart, insights and instigation of new actions. We are all learning something, we however, don’t always recognise it, we are simply asleep to it.

We all know our own stuff, we all know our own fears, some deeper and longer lasting than others, yet we manage to forge ahead with or without them anyway.

When we are in fear, we are in separation from love, it’s simply a different vibration we have lost touch with. Our challenges are our steppingstones for growth, our resilience, our achievements and even our failures. It means we cared, we tried, we got some things right and others not even close. It’s not how we fall, it’s how we get up, sometimes even if it’s slowly that’s ok and so is not.

We’ve managed to push ourselves mercilessly in the pursuit of what? Happiness? Success? Money? Health? Wealth? Outcomes? Projections? Discernment? Judgement? Safety? Security? Comfort? Trust? Faith? Hope? In doing so what is it that we have clung onto in the process? What underpins trust? What underpins judgement? It’s not until we go deeper within ourselves do we begin to find understanding of our actions/reactions, the places where we stand up, step back, sit down, silence ourselves, condemn or try to silence others.

How can we trust what someone else has to say if we haven’t experienced it ourselves?

What will help us understand is that everyone is speaking their truth and what comes out can simply be a projection of where they are at odds within themselves, not recognising their inner needs are not being met with love, but instead with criticism, judgement, non-acceptance, hatred and condemnation which is usually a learnt behaviour having come from someone or somewhere else and has been taken on as their own as not good enough.

Having said that, not everything is negative, there is good in the world if we look, there is good inside all of us even if we can’t see it. It takes willingness to find the light in each, and every person including ourselves. That light is the light of the soul sitting in the background waiting for connection, creativity and love. Where do we find it, it’s not in our head, it’s in our heart where our greatest learning lives. The longest journey on earth for every soul is the one from our head to our heart and that journey will always start with an intention of taking the first step back into love. The journey of inner balance, inner harmony, inner peace and inner love which then becomes the reflection of our soul out into the world as we learn to shine as our true and authentic self.

This journey can take you places you never expected to visit or see but is one of profound realisation that there is more to life than just a surface view and that that view is of others. It’s not true, everyone is a reflection, and everyone is walking everyone home through the mirror.

What has been the biggest learning of our life? Where is it that we haven’t learnt to cope when everything failed? Did we learn to hang out in shame? Or congratulate ourselves that we made it through to the other side with new understanding, boundaries and wisdom of how not to do something and came up with something better in its place?

Are we genuine in our congratulations, or does jealousy raise its head? Jealousy even though it’s there, it is showing us what we want and that’s ok, it’s always how we respond more so to ourselves and it is OUR reaction after all. Have we given up on ourselves believing we are not good enough to achieve? What does achievement look like? And what would we be happy for it to look like? Does the achievement raise us up while putting someone else down so we can win? Or does it look like we gave it our all and in the end we were happy with ourselves in the process of learning something new no matter the outcome? Our life is never about someone else. It’s learning about ourself.

It's easy to let someone know you love them, although initially it can be awkward, however can the same be said of ourselves? Can we look in the mirror and say the same thing to ourselves or is there conditions put upon it? Sure we can have things fixed, but why do we hold hatred for ourselves? Whose impression or image are we trying to live up to? And why? Where have we set the bar for ourselves? Too high? Too low? Or not at all because we’ve given up thinking we’ll never “make it”?

Life doesn’t always appear fair, karma is the equaliser whether we believe it or not. The universe is always in balance, and the law of cause and effect will always be our greatest teacher.

We can learn to dance to the tune of our own heart and soul with discernment, clarity and understanding as it guides us back into the universal fold and field of love as it pushes the negativity up and out and into the light of day for healing and release. Many will resist, many will rise, it’s all up to our higher soul and where our learning sits.

Don’t fear our learning, don’t fear our loss, learn instead to shine a light on our heart and soul, our truth, our understanding, our realisation, our worth as that soul in the bigger scheme of life on earth and peace for all.

It is achievable and worth the journey for a more beautiful and sustainable world for all and know that nature IS that fuel for our soul along with unconditional love and forgiveness, after all the learning has always belonged to each and every one of us all along.
