Lavender remembered that day: the day that she almost lost Xor. Lavender was an flower fairy and Xor was an dark fairy. Their romance was forbidden, so they had to hide their love for each other. Lavender lived in the Light Fairy Realm and Xor lived in the Dark Fairy Realm. Lavender did love Xor with all of her heart, but they were not allowed to be together by the laws of nature and by the separation between the Light Fairy Realm and the Dark Fairy Realm.

He had almost died because some dark fairy planned his death and poisoned him with the Forbidden Fruit. He ate it because he thought that the fruit was edible. Little that he knowed what dark poison was the fruit hiding.

And there he was almost dead and Lavender has found him. She knew that she could not recover her lover in an traditional way, because the Poisoned Fruit was forbidden by The Mother of The Forest to be eaten.

So, she would have to give pieces of her soul for the revival of Xor.

It was an dark and painful process, but it was the only way that she could get Xor back. So, lingering on the edges, she let the darkness conquer her, with an swirling network of dark nets.

There she woke up on The Other World. There everything was covered in darkness. An giant dark serpent bent around her asking:

Is it him you want to bring back?

Yes, and I am ready to do whatever it takes for him.

You know you have to give me 3 precious pieces of your soul for that?

Yes, I know that. And I am ready to do this.

The dark serpent absorbed 3 pieces of her soul through his mouth.

And shall you never be complete after that.

I am complete if I will have Xor again with me.

I will not hold you back much longer, get back to him.

In an snap of an second the darkness had lightened and she got back to the Fairy World.

Xor woke up from an long, darkened long sleep which was death-like. He asked:

- What happened?

- You almost died from the Forbidden Fruit. Now you are back.

- I am happy I did not lost you.

- I am happy that I did not lost you too!

- How did you bring me back?

- I had to give 3 pieces of my sould to do that.

- You did not had to do that for me.

- You know that I cannot live without you!

- That is true!

- Let us go for an walk.

They ventured out into the forest. Lavender summoned lavender flowers for him.

Xor said:

So beautiful! Do you the black like me?

He turned the violet color of the lavender flowers into black.

There you go! He gave the lavender flowers to her.

- What did the Council decide about the relationships between the Flower fairies and Dark fairies?

-They were not too happy too happy about that, that is for sure.

Time skip forward 2 weeks...

Lavender was not feeling to well. She was feeling incomplete, as the snake said that she would feel. What could she do in that moment? Pieces of her sould where missing. And fairies live for an very long time, so she will have to live with that. Sometimes she was feeling like she almost got back to The Other World. The giant black snake would still linger in her dreams. No longer she could be safe, so she would have to talk to The Mother of the Forest. But she did not know how to find her.

One day, when she was walking through the forest, vines wrapped around her body.

Help me! She screamed.

You called me with your thought. Sid The Mother of the Forest.

I lost 3 pieces of my soul and I feel incomplet, what could I do?

-You where destined for this. You are slowly turning into an Dark Flower Fairy. That was your destiny, so you can finaly be with Xor.

-What is an Dark Flower fairy?

-From now on you will be with an foot in both worlds, the Light Fairy Realm and the Dark Fairy Realm too. But you have to leave your old life behind, everything you had ever known to go to the Dark Forest Realm.

-What did I do?

-You did make the ultimate sacrifice for him. But that is your destiny.

-This is my choice. This is what I picked.

Her violet and light violet hair and butterfly wings where slowly turning to nuances of black and gray. From her head, she grew out 2 black, twisted horns. Her pinkish eyes turned an light shade of gray.

Now the transformation is complete. You can go back to Xor.

She was released from the vines and The Mother of Her Forest has vanished.

When she got back to Xor, in the Dark Fairy Realm, he could not belive his eyes looking at her transformation. He said:

I did not belive that you could make such an sarcrifice for me!

It seems that we were destined to be together.

Xor showed Lavender around his home.

Wow, your house is totaly different than mine!

We, the Dark Fairies are more war and industry inclined and that is why my home looks like this.

Let me test my new powers.

They got to the garden outside. Lavender summoned some dark entangled vines.

He said:

-That is fantastic! Let me tell you a little secret. Me too I got some new powers beause I was the only one which survived eating the Forbidden Fruit.

He summoned Dark Mattter, that no Fairy has seen before. Lavender said:

What is that?

That is Dark Matter. I can manipulate it and give it different shapes and forms.

There he made an prism of darkness which was see-though.

Wow, I had never seen such power before!

And from that moment, Lavender and Xor where never the same as before.
