Overview

I am a managing editor for a major sociology journal. I have over 30 years of experience with social science, legal, and medical journals editing as well as book editing and proofing for academic presses. In addition, I teach editing in a Chicago Manual of Style certificate program.

Overall, I am a skilled nonfiction, academic editor. I am an expert in the Chicago Manual of Style, but I can work in MLA and APA as well. I am especially adept at documentation, reference lists, citations, notes, bibliographies, tables, and math. If you have a very high-level, complicated, or technical project, I can help ensure that your documentation is done correctly. I have a law degree, and I can read a bit of Russian, so I often edit works about Russian literature.
