Overview
Anyone who knows me will testify that I love books! I have been an avid reader since I was a child and this means that I care about making your book or text the best that it can be.
I started in the publishing world working for Shire Publications, a small niche publisher based in Buckinghamshire (now part of Bloomsbury) and here I learnt my trade from the ground up.
In later years I have been privileged to be able to turn my hand to writing books, and am now a published author of several non-fiction titles. My particular interest is social history, specifically the medieval and Tudor periods, and the lives of women during that time.
I currently work as a freelance proofreader and copyeditor for several publishers, working on a broad range of books including fiction, history, spiritual and philosophy, in between family life and reading... always reading!
