BOOK COVER DESIGN

Essential Cover — £450

A clean, typography-led design built around a strong principal image, with considered typography and straightforward image manipulation.

Includes one design concept, two rounds of revisions and a final ebook cover file. A full print cover can be added for £100.

Bespoke Cover — £650

A more individual, art-directed design combining typography, found imagery, collage and Photoshop manipulation.

Includes one developed design concept, two rounds of revisions, an ebook cover and a full print cover, supplied as publication-ready files.

Advanced Cover — from £900

For more complex projects requiring extensive visual research, intricate photomontage, bespoke typographic treatments or substantial image manipulation.

Includes one developed design direction, two rounds of revisions, ebook and print cover artwork, and production-ready files.

INTERIOR BOOK DESIGN

Standard Novel Layout — £450

A clean, professional interior for text-led fiction, including typography, margins, paragraph styling, chapter openings, page numbering and print-ready PDF.

Refined Editorial Layout — £650

A more distinctive interior with considered typographic hierarchy, designed chapter openings, section breaks and additional editorial detailing.

Complex Interior Design — from £900

For illustrated books, non-fiction, tables, diagrams and projects requiring bespoke page layouts or more involved visual design.

Prices assume a final, edited manuscript of approximately 60,000–90,000 words. Longer manuscripts and more complex projects may require a revised quotation.

EBOOK FORMATTING

Standard Ebook Formatting — £250

For straightforward, text-led books with minimal imagery, using Kindle Create. Includes formatting, basic chapter styling, front and back matter, a table of contents where supported, export and quality checks, and one consolidated correction round.

Enhanced Ebook Formatting — £325–£400

For books requiring additional styling, moderate image placement or more involved formatting and testing.

Complex ebooks requiring elaborate layouts or features outside my standard workflow are quoted separately.

Please note that ebook deliverables and compatible publishing platforms will be agreed before work begins.

REVISIONS & ADDITIONAL WORK

Cover design includes two rounds of revisions. Interior layout and ebook formatting include one consolidated correction round.

Additional work is charged as follows:

Additional cover revision round: £100

Additional cover design work: £75 per hour

Additional interior or ebook correction round: £75

Further interior or ebook changes: £55 per hour

New cover concepts or substantial changes in creative direction: quoted separately

A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback on the current design. Major changes of direction, substantial manuscript amendments after layout has begun, or changes to approved production specifications may incur additional charges.

REQUIREMENTS

The manuscript must be edited and proofread before work begins.

Stock imagery, image licences, specialist fonts, illustration commissions and other third-party expenses are excluded unless specifically stated in the quotation.

All project deliverables, timelines and payment milestones will be agreed before work begins.
