Overview
My aim is to create unique covers that accurately reflects the content and tone of the book. I tend to err on the side of mysterious or humorous designs, and what I like the most is coming up with a design that works at a first glance (before you read the book) but that also connect with the reader again once they've finished the book. Understanding the core concept of the text is very important, so that it may be distilled into simple yet effective imagery.
My experience spans from University Presses with mostly academic or trade titles with some fiction, as well as photo books and magazine layout and illustrations.
