A book cover is often the first connection between a book and its readers.

I’m a Spanish Creative and Art Director trained at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles), with more than 20 years of experience in visual design and publishing.

Throughout my career I have designed numerous book covers, some of which have appeared on the bestseller lists of The New York Times, Publisher’s Weekly, and USA Today.

Over the years I have collaborated with major publishers, media companies, and international authors, including Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Hachette, Universal Music Publishing, The Washington Post, Paramount Pictures, National Geographic, BBC, Netflix, Editorial Planeta, among many others.

*What to expect from my designs

I don’t follow a single fixed visual style when designing book covers. Instead, I adapt each project to the story, the audience, and the demands of today’s highly competitive publishing market.

What defines my work is a strong focus on emotion, movement, and visual impact. My goal is to create covers that don’t simply look good — they capture attention and immediately draw readers into the world of the book.

I enjoy working with clean, intelligent, and contemporary aesthetics, always searching for a simple yet powerful graphic concept that expresses the essence of the story in a clear and memorable way.

My process is collaborative and focused on achieving the best possible result for your book.

• I typically present several initial design concepts, allowing the author to choose the direction that resonates most.

• From there, we refine the selected concept carefully until the final cover feels exactly right.

• Throughout the process, you can expect friendly, professional, and dedicated support — I’m not satisfied with the final design until you are.
