Damian Penfold

Damian Penfold – Editor

Highly experienced academic and professional (and friendly!) copy-editor and proofreader for the humanities and social sciences.

Overview

I have almost two decades of experience working for leading academic publishers such as Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Brill, Edward Elgar and Johns Hopkins University Press. As a proofreader and copy-editor I have worked on monographs and contributory volumes across multiple disciplines in the humanities and social sciences, particularly English literature, history, politics, classics, music and religious studies. I am also the copy-editor of two academic journals and one online encyclopaedia.

As a project manager I have worked for some of the leading international content transformation companies, such as Newgen and Integra, so have knowledge of their requirements and expectations.

I would be happy to discuss your project and how I could help you.
