I'm a seasoned designer with an MA (Distinction) in Graphic Design, designing book interiors for print and ebook formats.
l'm passionate about creating book designs based upon time-honoured design principles like hierarchy, white space, and the strategic use of grid systems. I can shape your content, regardless of its genre or scope, to engage your intended audience.
As an author myself, I'm sensitive to words, and as a veteran InDesign user, I’m meticulous about my process. I pay great attention to big decisions like font choice and page geometry, as well as to small—but no less important—details, like letter and word spacing and optical margin alignment. As an InDesign and Photoshop expert (I have written books on both and speak at design conferences like Adobe MAX) I take full advantage of the software's capabilities. I format text and image efficiently, harnessing paragraph, character, and object styles to ensure consistency, and a clear path to future edits.
