I’m a freelance book editor with 20+ years of experience in romance, cookbooks, and Christian devotionals. I’ve worked on New York Times bestselling and high-profile titles, helping authors refine their voice and shape their manuscripts into polished, reader-ready books.

Recent projects include Baking Across America by B. Dylan Hollis (DK Publishing), which debuted at #2 on the New York Times bestseller list, Mocktail Hour by Callie Gullickson, and She’s a Host by Erin Lichy. I’ve also copyedited devotionals such as Learning How to Forgive by Chris Bailey and the forthcoming Thrive with Jesus by Brittany Smigielski.

Before going freelance full-time in 2021, I worked at Avalon Books, where I edited sweet romance by authors including Carolyn Brown, Lisa Mondello, and Kathryn Quick—many of whom went on to become USA Today and New York Timesbestselling authors.

I also collaborate with platforms like Radish, Tapas, and SmartBig, editing romance across contemporary, fantasy, and billionaire subgenres.

More recently, I’ve worked with authors using AI tools to develop drafts. These manuscripts often need careful refinement to achieve a natural voice, strong pacing, and consistent tone. I specialize in elevating AI-assisted writing to meet professional publishing standards.
