Overview
I used my love of the written word when I worked as a literacy instructor for an after school program from 2016-2019. As I helped to shape young minds, I learned how stories can entertain and simultaneously educate. I began writing children’s books with a focus on humor, but have written all kinds of genres. From young adult fantasy, to humorous rhyming children’s books, I want my books to exude some sort of familiarity, while having a twist to make them stand out. One of my favorite projects was a story about a sports-loving boy who gets invited to the North Pole to play in a tournament against Santa’s elves. Not only does this book contain whimsy and holiday fun, but it also teaches kids the importance of teamwork and creativity. I also worked on a children’s series called “Feeding Frenzy,” which was published by Little Hippo Books. The rhyming stories feature a different animal on each page and give the reader a specific food to satiate the hungry critters. Collaboration has helped me create some of my favorite stories, and I want you to be involved as much as you want in the ghostwriting process. Whether you have a detailed outline you’d like me to follow, or simply the characters and setting in mind, I’d love to help put your story on the page.
