With ten years of experience as a Commissioning Editor at Bloomsbury, I specialize in editing academic works across the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, particularly in the field of Education. I take great pride and pleasure in the books I've worked on, and I'd be delighted to make yours my next project.

Work experience
Self-employed
I am a freelance commissioning editor, copyeditor, proofreader, and translator with over 12 years of experience in the publishing industry.
For a decade, I worked as an in-house editor at Bloomsbury Publishing, commissioning academic books and content for a digital resource. After my second maternity leave, I decided to embrace freelancing and now collaborate directly with authors, publishers, businesses, and charities. I’m proud to be a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
Bloomsbury Publishing
I am a commissioning editor on the Education and Research Methods list. I assess proposals and develop projects with academics, as well as identifying gaps in the market and then finding the most suitable author(s). I oversee projects from proposal all the way to, and beyond, publication.
