Overview
My specialty is visual non-fiction, and at my current position as Senior Editor at Phaidon Press I have worked on a number of high-profile titles, including Rihanna, Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz, Own It by Diane von Furstenburg, The Men's Fashion Book, The Architecture of Chanel by Peter Marino, and Chefwise by Shari Bayer, among many others.
In my previous role as Managing Editor and Associate Publisher of Regan Arts, I touched every book published at some point in the process, whether that was as the project editor seeing the book through from start to finish or as a second set of eyes on the editorial and design of the book. During my time at the company, we published five New York Times–bestselling titles and dozens of others—from novels, biographies and memoirs to self-help, cookbooks, and an array of illustrated books on art, architecture, film, photography, and pop culture. Some of my notable projects include The Godfather Notebook by Francis Ford Coppola, The Art of the Hollywood Backdrop by Karen Maness, Deceptive Desserts by Christine McConnell, and Trousdale Estates by Steven Price.
My professional background allows me a unique holistic view of the book publishing process to prepare your book in the best way editorially and beyond. Creating a book can be a deeply personal experience that requires a lot of trust and I take pride in the relationships I have built with my authors. I look forward to each new project, big or small, and am happy to offer my expertise in:
—Query Letter Review and/or book proposals
—Manuscript/content review and assessment
—Developmental editing, including photo editing and image research
—Copyediting, including factchecking
—Proofreading
