Overview
I started editing in 2012 with a couple of indie authors I had been fangirling over. Since then, I have steadily built my career through continuing education and expanding my client base through word of mouth. Now, I hold a master's degree, a postgraduate certificate in editing, and memberships in several professional organizations, and I am fortunate to count publishers such as Asmodee Entertainment and Penguin Young Readers among my clients.
I believe that the best editor is a fan first. The editor must be able to *hear* your voice before they can help you make it shine. This is why my editing looks different for each and every author I meet. Sometimes I can be harsh. Sometimes I am a teacher. Sometimes I am a collaborator. Sometimes I'm goofy and throw memes in the queries. I work on the books that I do because I love them, and I always feel honored to be a part of their production process. I care for each and every book I help bring into the world.
