Ciao!

My name is Laura and I'm from Italy with love. I'm a freelance illustrator and comics artist.

My illustration style ranges from animals to peculiar and bold characters.

I always try to put my personality into any job. I have a painterly style and I have surreal and dreamlike poetics. I work with various artistic techniques: acrylic, ink, digital, and linocut.

I have worked for different clients: the Global Network of Water Museums of Bali, NFT's illustrator for Genuino, and Comics for MalEdizioni publishing house. But I have also worked on commissions for private individuals.

PICTURE BOOKS AND INTERIOR ILLUSTRATIONS

My favorite subjects are animals, nature, and magical or surreal characters.

I divide the project into manageable sections:

First I make sketching of storyboard and character design for your feedback and direction.

After your ok I draw the line and colour finals. The storyboard is crucial for establishing page turns and compositions.

In 2020 my editorial project "Lonesuns" was selected in the Clairvoyants international competition, organized by the Polish publishing house Dwie Siostry.

In 2024 I won second place in the Grano Graphic Novel competition with my graphic novel project "Soli".

I don't use any generative AI apps or programs for my work.
