Overview
Hi, I'm Keith, a versatile comic book, graphic novel and children's book creator, writer, illustrator, and educator whose decades long career spans working in animation for Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and The Princess and the Frog, to designing toy packaging for major franchises like Bruce Lee and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. With a passion for global culture and storytelling, I have sketched my way through forty countries. From children's books to anthologies like Scout Comics and TO COMIX Press, I blend my technical commercial arts background with a rich narrative style (using no AI in my art).
I have developed a system that makes it fun and easy to collaborate. Whether it's for a children's book, a historical graphic novel, a horror comic series or a ten page action adventure comic book, the process I've developed results in getting the best out of the creative team. We have video meetings where I can share my digital drawing screen--first to discuss your project and go over the contract, next after I've sent you thumbnails (rough drawings that show clearly what will happen on each page) and finally when we go through the finished pages before they go to the next person on the team or to print. This results in changes that can be made easily in front of your eyes as you make suggestions while I draw them, so that expectations are always met and communication is clear and concise. As an added bonus, I'm also very knowledgeable of the printing process and can help give you suggestions as well!
