Kate Itrich-Williams

Kate Itrich-Williams – Editor

I'm an award-winning culinary editor and writer with more than 15 years of experience perfecting recipes in cookbooks and online.

Overview

I love helping create fun, engaging, and (most importantly) useful recipes. As an editor who also works as a recipe developer and writer, I always want to make sure that my writers are being supported and encouraged.

After 15 years in culinary development, I bring a sharply analytical eye to every piece of content I see. My years at America's Test Kitchen gave me a strong foundation in recipe writing, and my work shaping recipes for kitchen brands and in cookbooks taught me how to pull out an authors voice. These two powers combined make for quality recipes.

I can help you fine-tune your recipe language, brainstorm headnotes, and double-check that you've included every last detail in your directions. I'm a stickler for proper ingredient lists and I love making a style guide.

I'm equally comfortable working on long-form projects (cookbooks!) as I am in a blog- or social media-driven recipe format.
