I’ve worked on cookbooks, crafting books, historical fiction, illustrated books, memoirs, middle-grade fiction, novels, sci-fi, travelogues, prescriptive nonfiction, and more.
Before becoming an editor, I worked in design and art. I’ve found that my professional background gives me a unique set of skills perfect for working with writers.
If your writing involves directions (cooking, crafting) or navigating a built environment (design, art, architecture), I am the one to work with to make sure your ideas are easy to follow and enjoyable to read. And if you think about it, this editorial skillset works perfectly for all writing. After all, as the writer, you are building worlds that the readers need to recreate. Let’s work together, so your ideas reach your readers just the way you imagine.
