Hi, I’m Taryn! I’m an award-winning illustrator and animator specializing in children’s books and playful science illustration.

Over the past 15+ years I’ve illustrated 12 published children’s books and worked with publishers including Scholastic, Cartwheel Books, Little Bee Books, Macmillan Kids, Odd Dot, Nickelodeon/Noggin, and Epic for Kids.

My illustrations combine joyful color, clean compositions, and a playful appreciation of nature. With a background in marine biology, I especially love illustrating animals, ocean life, and science topics for young readers.

My background in marine biology also makes me a great fit for science and educational titles for young readers.
