Hello, I'm a professional copyeditor and proofreader with 10+ years of experience in publishing, working across both academic and fiction texts. If you're looking for someone to polish up your paragraphs and make your copy sing, I'm always happy to get grammar-nerdy with a new or returning author.Sometimes it strikes me how lucky I am to be in this line of work – I get to read books for a living! As the eagle-eyed reader may be able to deduce, I'm an enthusiastic editor who's always excited to take on new projects, be they technical academic treatises or whimsical adventure novels. I bring a careful and consistent eye to all aspects of copyediting and proofreading, but I'm also flexible in my approach, not slavishly following a style guide if it goes against the author's preferences.
