Overview
I am an editor, writer, and ghostwriter who has worked both inhouse with Caspian Publishing, and as a freelancer with Penguin Random House and Profile. I have ghostwritten autobiographies and business books for individuals with a story to tell but struggling with both time and narrative direction. I have edited books for authors with brilliant ideas but who are too closely immersed in the subject matter to take a step back and put themselves in the reader's shoes.
Many people believe that they have a book in them. What gives me huge satisfaction is teasing that book out of them, turning initial thoughts and first drafts into dazzling copy. Not all books – particularly in the business sphere – are set to be page-turners, but they all deserve to be well-written and easily accessible to the reader. I find it immensely satisfying to be a fundamental part of that transformative process.
