Overview
I’m a passionate, experienced editor and book coach who has worked with bestselling, award-winning, and debut authors alike. What drives me most is helping writers create stories they’re genuinely proud of—and guiding them toward the publishing goals that matter most to them.
I love love stories in all their forms—from sweet to extra spicy—across every heat level and age category, including young adult, new adult, and adult fiction. I work across a wide range of romance subgenres, including contemporary, paranormal, romantasy, romantic comedy, and romantic suspense, and I’m especially drawn to full-length novels where there’s space to deeply develop character, emotion, and story.
I also have a soft spot for projects where romance plays a strong supporting role, such as women’s fiction, suspense, and cozy mysteries. As a lifelong sports fan and former sports reporter, I especially enjoy working on sports romances and stories featuring athlete protagonists. I’m equally excited by dark romance that pushes boundaries and YA stories that capture the intensity and vulnerability of first love.
Before launching my freelance business, I worked as an editor with Kensington Publishing and interned with Entangled Publishing. I’ve now spent over a decade editing romance and romantic fiction, supporting authors at every stage of their journey—from early coaching and manuscript assessments to developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading.
I’m also a writer, which means I understand how vulnerable—and at times isolating—the revision process can feel. I’ve experienced feedback that nearly made me walk away from writing altogether, and that experience shaped the editor I am today. It’s why I prioritize a supportive, encouraging, and honest environment where authors can grow with confidence.
With thoughtful feedback, constructive critique, and a deep understanding of genre expectations, story mechanics, and the marketplace, I help authors strengthen their manuscripts while preserving their unique voice and vision.
Every author’s path is different—and I’d love to see if I’m the right fit for yours.
