I am an editor specializing in all genres of romance and young adult. After three years of writing and editing safety and technical manuals for an independent company, I spent six years as a freelance production editor at Lyrical Press/Kensington Corporation, among various other e-presses. I've been freelance editing for four years providing various editorial services such as content editing and proofreading to authors opting to go the self-publishing route.

Editing your book doesn't have to be scary or depressing. I love working with authors at any stage of their career—whether you are a brand new author (newbie), an award-winning author, or bestselling author I can help! I've worked with a variety of authors in all stages of their publishing careers.

I love to help indie authors work through the editing process with positive feedback. Does that mean I won't make recommendations or comment on things that I see aren't working? Heck no! It just means that through positive language, constructive criticism, and a strong understanding of what it means to rip apart your manuscript, we will work through your manuscript to make it the best it can be. I won't squash your writing voice or change the vision for your book. I'll pull out my pompoms and red pen, and let's get to work on your book.

I really enjoyed working with Jennifer. She was very nice and explained so much in her assessment and gave notes within the document. It was easy to understand what she was asking and when she enjoyed my work I was in shock as this was the first time my manuscript had been set in front of an editor. Jennifer was very professional and I couldn't have had a better experience.

Jennifer had such good insights into my manuscript, she brought to light clear and actionable changes in a concise and supportive way so I didn't feel overwhelmed by the edits in my future. She gave specific suggestions and was available for batting around some ideas afterward. Thank you Jennifer!
