Freelance editor (since 2005), offering developmental, line/copy editing, proofreading, manuscript review (read and report), and mentoring/brainstorming services. My current roster of clients includes internationally best-selling authors Samantha Young, Sawyer Bennett, and KA Tucker, so, yes, I love editing romance, romantic suspense, and fantasy/paranormal romance! Fluent in Chicago Manual of Style, Associated Press, and Canadian Press style guides, I edit for US, UK, and CAD clients. While I primarily edit romance and related subgenres, I have experience with thrillers, mystery, crime, fantasy, and sci-fi, middle grade to adult, as well as nonfiction work (literary essays, self-help, finance, health and wellness, and memoir). I don't edit horror ... I saw Halloween in the '80s, and I'm still messed up.

Novelist x 14 (both trad and indie in YA, rom-com, women's fiction, and enviromance). Winner of a 2019 British Columbia Arts Council grant for a work in progress. My debut YA novel, Sleight (HarperCollins Canada, SkyPony US), was a Fall 2018 Canadian Children's Book Centre Best Books for Kids & Teens and an Ontario Library Association Best Bets Honourable Mention Book for YA, 2019. My debut romantic comedy, Must Love Otters (as Eliza Gordon), was number one in the Barnes & Noble store and a Kindle Top 100 in March 2014.
