Overview
Hello, authors!
I bring a 360-degree perspective to my editorial work: I’m a current literary and licensing agent, a former editor at both major and independent publishers, and a published children’s author with HarperCollins.
I know the evaluation process from both sides of the agent/editor table, and the vulnerability and craft challenges of writing for young readers. My query review experience is informed by my years as an agent reviewing tens of thousands of queries, and experience as the editorial evaluator of all unagented submissions at Scholastic.
When working with authors, my feedback isn’t limited to craft quality; I focus on submission-readiness: clarity, voice, market positioning, and strength of your submission materials as a robust package.
