Amanda Sun – Editor

Former Big Five editor with NYT Bestseller titles and award nominations ready to help your manuscript shine!

Overview

Hi! I'm a former "Big Five editor" (Scholastic, HarperCollins) with over 10 years of experience. My projects have hit the NYT Bestseller list for mass market and have been nominated for several awards including the Diamond Birch, Red Cedar, and CCBC Best Picks. I specialize in Fantasy, YA, MG, picture books, and inspirational romance. I'm excited to make my experience work for you!

I offer thoughtful, supportive feedback and listen to your goals so that we can shape your story to be the strongest it can be. I'm excited to bring out the potential in your manuscript!

I have a Professional Development Award in Children's Publishing and have taught dozens of panels and workshops over the years on writing, querying, worldbuilding, and the publishing process. I love both the big-picture conversations about books and finding those last little typos that come between your reader and a flawless reading experience.

There is nothing more exciting than working with authors to help polish their worlds and ideas so their manuscripts shine. Let my industry experience and passion work for you.

Let's work together! I can't wait to discuss your project.
