Overview
I’m a book designer and typesetter specialising in YA, middle grade, and children’s fiction, with three years’ in-house experience at HarperCollins UK. I’ve worked across illustrated and text-led titles, with a particular focus on interior layout, typesetting, and series style setting.
My work includes titles such as Monster Diaries by Anne Miller, Cecily Sawyer: How to Be a Spy by Iona Rangley, Scarlet: Defender of the Universe by James Davis, Lucky the Dog by Michael Morpurgo, The Last Life of Lori Mills by Max Boucherat, Tales From Shakespeare by Michael Morpurgo and the bestselling A Language of Dragons by S.F. Williamson.
I also design covers, taking projects from initial concept through to final artwork, and prepare print-ready files for production.
I hold an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, and bring a strong understanding of narrative pacing, typography, and image–text integration to every project.
