Hi! My name is Claudie and I'm an award-winning illustrator with over 7 years of experience specializing in Children's books. I'm currently based in the UK, but originally from Quebec, Canada, which means that I'm fluent in French for any collaboration needing French language.

My style is very whimsical and rendered, with vivid colors and realistic lighting. I am mostly known for my strong focus on storytelling and bold colors.

I have worked on multiple projects ranging from Picture Books to Middle Grade and Young Adult.

I have a preference for any project involving fiction, fantasy, magic, animals, landscapes, nature and neurodivergence!

I have worked on over 40 picture books and several Middle Grade covers over the years and even won a few awards for my work.

As an illustrator, I highly value the author/illustrator relationship. I like to think of it as a partnership and that being able to trust each other can significantly improve the project's quality as well as the experience. I always work very closely with the author to make sure that their vision is well represented in the illustrations, meaning that I update the author regularly with sketches and follow up on the work done. I like to involve the author in the process as much as I can so that we can both have the best book possible!

Updates are sent on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the nature and scope of the project. I'm very communicative and easily reachable and will answer any question as soon as I can during working hours.

I'm also happy to guide any new author that might need the extra help to navigate the great world of book publishing.
