TESTIMONIALS

“Erin is an editing wizard! We clicked from the start. She helped me fine-tune the purpose of my book and the most appropriate target audience. This was great as it was actually different than I’d originally thought. She really got me. She pulled more details from me to clarify the meaning of certain passages. She moved text around to improve the flow. She validated my intuition by keeping the first chapter as the first chapter when others thought it should be something else. I'm so happy that Erin showed up when she did. I will definitely use her for book #2 and beyond.”

~ Jo Ann Richards, author of Midlife Magic, a memoir

“Just one book-coaching session with with Erin reignited my belief that I CAN get this book living inside me out into the world and make a real difference. Erin’s knowledge, gentle structured guidance, and genuine excitement about what I want my book to bring to the world has flipped my view from seeing my book as something else I need to get done to something I’m counting down the hours until I get to work on again because I WANT to! And I have Erin by my side providing her guidance and feedback. Erin is a gift.”

~ Tabatha Kattau, Emotional Wellness Psychotherapist, author of The Gift

Work experience

Self-employed

May, 2020 — Present
Since 2020, I have been helping creative nonfiction writers write books that shine! I've edited for publishers Redleaf Press and Familius, worked with publishing company Book Launchers, and served as a managing editor for the online journal VoiceCatcher. I co-authored and published the international Amazon best-seller, Get Published: Industry Experts Share Their Secrets, in which I share what my book coaching program offers. LA Weekly named me as one of 15 Book Coaches to Watch in 2023. I worked with Inspired Hearts Publishing to edit an anthology and with Hille House Publishing by offering a 4-week writing seminar to a cohort of writers. In 2024, I became an editor with Next Page Publishing and an editor and book coach with KN Literary Arts. I am also the author of a book about my spiritual practice and a volume of poetry.
