I'm a web designer with a master's in visual communications and 6+ years of experience building websites from start to finish. I design and build each site myself, so you work with one person from first sketch to launch.
What sets my sites apart is motion. Most author websites are static and forgettable. I bring them to life with smooth scroll animations, subtle moving elements, and interactive touches that make visitors stop and pay attention. I even built and maintain my own WordPress animation tool, now running on 300+ sites. Used well, animation isn't decoration. It guides the eye, highlights your books, and makes your site feel premium.
I work mostly in WordPress, which keeps you in full control of your site and hosting, with no platform locking you in. I'll take time to understand your books, your readers, and what you want the site to actually do (sell copies, grow a mailing list, build your name) then design around that goal. Every site is fully responsive, so it looks great on desktop, tablet, and phone, and I build it so you can easily update it yourself.
The process usually starts with a visual design that we refine together until you're happy, only then do I build the actual site. That way you know exactly how it'll look before any development begins, with no surprises.
I'm also happy to set up online shops for selling books directly, multilingual sites for international readers, and ongoing maintenance if you'd rather not touch the technical side.

Tamara Zeba
I built the site for Tamara Zeba, a sworn court interpreter for English and Italian who published "Jezične vratolomije" (Language Neckbreakers), a bilingual collection of Croatian idioms with illustrations, English translations, and notes on their origins.
The challenge was holding two worlds on the same site: the professionalism of legal translation and the playfulness of a book that explains why Croatians "have their axe fall into honey." The site is fully bilingual (HR/EN) via TranslatePress, and doubles as a single-product web shop (the book can be ordered directly through it and it's implemented with Woocommerce and integrated via Stripe. It also includes Box Now delivery).
Visually, I aimed for an elegant, restrained foundation that fits the professional context of a court interpreter, then layered in playful moments that echo the tone of the book itself. On the book page I included animations and horizontal scroll in order to show the playfulness of the book itself. The goal was for visitors to immediately sense someone who takes language seriously, but also loves it and knows how to play with it.
