I'm an award-winning editor with 25+ years of experience editing novels, non-fiction books, and journalism for New York magazine, New York Times, and others. I'm a two-time James Beard Award winner and a National Magazine Award nominee specializing in literary fiction, arts, culture, food, humor, travel, and more.

As both an editor who has worked with hundreds of writers and a published author (THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL, Melville House) who has collaborated with many editors, I've been on both sides of the desk. I appreciate the value of an edit that is thorough and exacting but also respectful of an author's voice and vision. I've edited everyone from bestselling authors to student writers for whom English is a second language.
