The sun had just begun to set as I pulled up to Earl’s place. Steering the wagon around back, I was greeted by Earl himself, an older man with graying hair and a face lined with years of hard work. “About time!” he shouted, grabbing an armful of wood from the wagon without pause. “Grab another armful, would ya?
