Hello all. I am fairly new to this short story thing. I have always been a voracious reader and have written poetry my entire life. This year, I decided to try my hand at more fiction, and short stories have been so much fun and are great practice (since I plan to be a novelist at some point). Each day I try to get out at least 500-1200 words in either a letter, short story, or poem. Other than writing, I am a mother to four kiddos and two dogs. I enjoy being outside. I also work and am back in school full time to finish my bachelor's in English with a concentration in creative writing. So I do have a nice full schedule, but I like it that way.
