I'm a high school age writer, and I have been since I was 7 years old, writing stories on pink notepads about horses in an oversized armchair, leaning over the living room coffee table.
I am the 2 time champion of my 5A school's creative writing club. We have only ever had 2 competitions, and the one time there was a prize, it was a ring pop in the shape of a skull that I never ate. ✨✨
Today, 5-29-26, marks the first day I have ever submitted a story for a professional contest with a cash prize, despite puzzling and pondering over the act for years.
My style is meant to be a little... unsettling- a little jarring, if you will. I'm a big fan of unnecessary charming details, irony, and tragedies. My favorite authors are CS Lewis and LM Montgomery. In light of this, I will go by SR Graham if I ever publish. I think it will bring me good luck.
