A small and sleepy town nestled in the heart of a bigger, yet still small, town in far west Texas. The people here were... crazy, to say the least. It wasn't the tight knit community that you might hope to become a part of someday. It wasn't always a community that embraced and accepted those from the other side of the border, even though a large portion of the population was made up of them. This world can be so cruel sometimes. You all know it. You meet someone and it's... it's love at first sight. It has to be. The way their eyes shine in the sunlight, the way the ends of their mouth curl up into a smile so slowly. And then suddenly, they're gone. It's as if they were a ghost. They're gone as fast as they came, and it hurts. You feel like every second without them, without their soft voice, is a second chipping away at your heart and soul until one day you will be just as gone as they are. Even saying their name gave you goose...
