From my very first school trip to The Natural History Museum in the early 70’s where, I gazed open-mouthed at ‘Dippy’ the Diplodocus skeleton trying to get my ten year old brain to imagine a world in which this vast creature roamed and grazed the plains of what is now North America, I was hooked.
