I turn the stove on. Click, click, click, and the blue flames grow. I unscrew the olive oil’s lid, pour it in the pan, wipe a stray droplet with the towel tossed over my shoulder. Soon David, Mike and Jonas would come home, so there was no time to lose. The pantry is full, as always.
