I’m a farmer, rancher, wife, and mother who somehow also squeezes in writing, crafting, and whatever else my eclectic days demand. I’ve loved writing since my first literary class in middle school, later studied it in college, and have never stopped filling pages with stories. For me, writing is both an escape and a battery charger. It's my way to shape thoughts into something sharper, deeper, and truer than they sound in my head.
When I’m not at my desk, you’ll usually find me outdoors: wildcrafting herbs, digging in the dirt, or just watching my cattle graze while their calves frolic around the pasture. It’s how I ground myself and step away from the world’s noise. History fascinates me; that's why I like to write historical fiction, but more than that, I love storytelling in all its forms. It's my chance to get lost in a good story, or to create one that can carry someone else away for a while.
