Egan distractedly elbowed the door handle, pushing it downwards, his arms laden with books and term papers. After minutes of struggling and bruising his elbow, he shouldered the heavy oak door, his glasses threatening to slide off the tip of his nose as he continued to read the paper placed precariously on top.
