Richard Temple is a writer and poet from Wales. He is published in the UK, India, Denmark, Japan, and the USA. His work draws upon the messy human experience, exploring aging, mental illness, politics and neurodiversity, challenging assumptions with authentic vulnerability through a lens of social alienation and absurdist humour.
Richard performs regularly at festivals and events in the UK, and online. His multimedia work has featured in gallery exhibitions in Copenhagen and Lampeter, and he presented performance poetry workshops for Llandeilo Literary Festival.
He has performed three times at Morecambe Poetry Festival and his epic narrative ballad, 'The Bryde of Melksham Woode'. was launched in book form at the Coracle Europe Fringe Festival in 2025.
