My eyes opened quickly to see my dark shadowy bedroom. The stormy rain outside poured on my roof, profusely entering my mind, building annoyance and pressure inside my head. Lucinda where are you? Sleep felt like it was all I had remaining in the evening when I unexpectedly woke. Recently all I could do was look in my mirror to witness my near empty shadow and realise I’d lost everything. The sun shines over the street as light clouds slowly roll along the sky. Life has become a bore these days. Each morning I’m walking down this street. I turn the corner at the end of it. I go to the bus stop. I wait for the bus. I stare at the bus shelter advertising. I catch the bus. I arrive down the road from work. I walk up to work address. I enter the building lobby. Author bio

At my 28th birthday party on 30 March 2014 I fell 3.5 floors from a building.

I survived and that reality alone should entice one to smile. My journey through recovery and work on a book was where my true journey took place. This piece of artistic expression is now being completed and I will end it, telling the two years after the incident. This end encompasses all the things of life that we hold dear, we love and we are thankful. This true story will be one hell of a ride, it was one for me!

I have a travel blog that can give a taste of the writing (www.paulmcmahonauthor.wordpress.com) to come in print one day soon. I love to travel. I just do. My life started and ended with an international obsession and much of that has translated into the book. So please, come on a ride with me :)
