The sun rose, surrounded by a halo of crimson and gold, and it's warm rays filtered through the heavy curtains. She was already awake though and fully dressed. Sara paused before the sweetmeat stall, inhaling the wonderful scent of the brilliant honey confectionery. She was late, she realized as she glanced at the enormous clock that hung on a pillar in the center of the bazaar.
