My cell phone rings at the other end of my desk; my hand feels heavy as I make a weak attempt to reach for it. Whoever is calling can leave a voicemail. Yes, it is 2019, but that shit still works. My teacher once told us a story of a man who found himself stuck in a commercial freezer for 30 hours and survived.
