“Ladies and gentlemen, we’re officially 36,000 feet below sea level, and the sub integrity is still holding.” Captain Jones adjusted the collar of his navy-blue uniform and surveyed the room before him: more circular than a typical twenty-first century sub, but not large enough to make you feel like you were on the bridge of a spaceship.
