The sun broke through the clouds and painted its warmth on my cheeks. The street was abuzz with couples and families, out and about for the holiday. It was a scene of people walking hand in hand across the pavement, peaking into the shops, restaurants and boutiques that lined the street, all adorned with hearts, ribbons, and even a violinist outside of a bistro.
