ACT I A hallway in a tenement flat. No windows. A tattered sofa. MARGO is slouched on the sofa, in her pyjamas. Sunrise, 5:58am. The rose petal sky folds gently over the fields around Morrison House, and the sun reaches its fingers over the hill. Beams of light creep over the red brick façade; but behind hedges, behind trees, behind gargoyles, the night lingers still.
