A purple mist flooded the wooded great hall and hung low to the ground. It was wet and cold like a morning frost, but entirely unnatural in origin. The smell was thick, like bloody iron. The Oracle stood in the centre of the hall, draped in heavy deep burgundy robes that covered her whole body.
